Pandiyan Roadways Corporation started functioning with effect from 17.01.1972 having Head Quarters at Madurai. In order to provide transport facility properly to the public and to function the Administrative Office in a better way, this corporation has been bifurcated as Rani Mangammal Transport Corporation and functioning from 01.04.1986 having Head Quarters at Dindigul. This corporation is operating vehicles both at Dindigul and Theni Districts. From 06.01.2004 onwards, this corporation has been amalgamated with Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Limited, Madurai and running as Dindigul Region under the head of General Manager. In Dindigul Region around 5335 persons are working in the various cadre of Deputy Managers, Assistant Managers, Assistant Engineers, Superintendents, Administrative Staff, Driver/Conductor and Technical Staff.Click here For more information [PDF 19 KB]
