Electronic Voting Machines Dispatched to Polling Stations

In Dindigul district, 230 Zonal Officers have been appointed for the 2,301 polling stations set up across the 7 Assembly constituencies. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, GPS devices were installed today (21.04.2026) in the 230 vehicles allocated for transporting Electronic Voting Machines (BU, CU, VVPAT) from the strong rooms to the polling stations.
