Explosives Shops and Storage Units to Remain Closed on Specified Dates.

In view of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly General Election 2026, polling will be held across Tamil Nadu on 23.04.2026 and counting of votes will take place on 04.05.2026. Therefore, as per Government Order No. (D) 454, Home (Police-XIII) Department, dated 18.03.2026, all explosives sales shops and explosives storage units (magazines) across Tamil Nadu shall remain closed from 21.04.2026 to 24.04.2026 and from 02.05.2026 to 04.05.2026.
